Dear Members

ASIS International (Singapore Chapter) will be organizing the second educational field visit and networking dinner of 2017 to the Singapore Turf Club on 30 June 2017 (Friday).

The Singapore Turf Club (STC) was founded in 1842 as the Singapore Sporting Club, being the oldest existing and only horse racing club in Singapore. It was relocated to its present location at the Singapore Racecourse at Kranji in 1999. It is now one of the premier racecourses in the world that not only provides world-class quality horse racing while maintaining the highest level of integrity in wagering, but also an efficient, effective and socially responsible organization.

Do join us to understand their security operations, investigation and intelligence gathering processes, challenges faced by the security team, and be provided a rare opportunity to visit the back of house areas: the Security Command Centre and up close with the race horses. Do not miss this great opportunity to learn and network from one another in this educational field visit.

Do stay behind for our Q2 networking dinner, also at the Singapore Turf Club, where you can enjoy a sumptuous buffet with a great view of the racecourse and the live horse racing sessions. In addition, we have lined up a presentation on leadership by an established and well-known executive coach cum consultant, and also a presentation on the usage of Twitter from a security perspective by the Regional Security Manager from Twitter. The finale would be a guided tour of the Parade Ring by STC staff where members would be able to view the race horses in close proximity, snap photos of the race horses and experience the live horse racing at the Grandstand.

Do not miss this rare opportunity and once-in-a-lifetime experience at the STC by attending both the educational field visit and networking dinner.
