Step 2: Join the Global ASIS Community
ASIS International is the world’s largest community of security professionals, offering certifications, training, and networking across 150+ chapters worldwide.

Join ASIS International Membership (required before signing up as a Singapore Chapter member)

Step 3: Join the Local ASIS Singapore Chapter

Once you have signed up with ASIS International, sign up to become part of our Singapore Chapter community.

  • As a local member, you will enjoy:
  • Networking events — connect with fellow security professionals across industries
  • Field visits and site tours — get behind-the-scenes access to major facilities and security operations
  • Workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions — stay updated with local and regional security best practices
  • Speaker events — hear from industry leaders and experts on emerging security topics
  • Career transition support — dedicated initiatives for veterans and professionals entering corporate security

Join ASIS Singapore Chapter Membership

Step 4: Explore ASIS Certifications

ASIS International offers globally recognised certifications to support your career growth:

  • APP — for those starting out in security or transitioning into the field. No academic
    prerequisite.
  • CPP® — senior-level gold standard covering leadership, risk management, and investigations. Attainable via experience pathway without a degree.
  • PSP® — specialising in physical security, system design, and countermeasures.
  • PCI® — focused on investigative skills and case management. Particularly relevant for SPF and CNB officers.

Step 5: Training and Review Courses
The Singapore Chapter regularly organises review courses for APP, CPP, and PSP
candidates, including peer-to-peer study groups and exam preparation strategies.
