Greetings from SII! Hope that you are keeping up well.

The “Upskill in Security Operations” as part of the SGUnited (SGUS) Skills programme was launched on 3 July 2020.

The SGUS programme is a 6 to 12-month full-time training programme designed to help unemployed Singaporeans/PRs to upskill and reskill themselves with industry-relevant skills and knowledge. The training will be conducted on a full-time basis, but in modular format, so that trainees can have the flexibility to exit the programme once they have found a job. 

We enclose the brochure for “Upskill in Security Operations” for your information. 

Companies can encourage new entrants to join this programme.

Besides, companies which hire local workers through eligible reskilling programmes will receive enhanced hiring incentive as follows:

· Employers that hire a local worker aged 40 can receive salary support of 40% for six months, capped at $12,000 in total.
· Employers that hire a local worker aged below 40 can receive salary support of 20% for six months, capped at $6,000 in total.
