The current Management Committee has been serving the members for 8 months. I am pleased to reaffirm our commitment to the members. The transformation delivered in 2012 is sustained this year and events are organised with higher quality and better attendance. Last year, there were 13 events organised and additional 5 events were supported with over 133 hours of education and networking opportunities offered.
Chapter’s Q3 evening seminar and networking dinner was a resounding success. It was attended by over 70 participants and positive feedbacks were received. Lionel Tan from Rajah and Tann delivered a presentation on Personal Data Protection Act followed by Hector Martinez from EMC on Leading Edge with Big Data. By attendance and feedbacks, this is the best quarterly event we have organised so far.
The presentation slides are now available to all members at the following links:

CPP Review course was completed yesterday with 10 attendees with attendees from Singapore and Indonesia. This follows the PSP course that was run successfully last month.
I would like to acknowledge our Q3 event sponsor, EMC. Please keep a look out for our next event soon.
