The Singapore Chapter held its first-ever virtual AGM on 27 Nov 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Attended by about 50 members, outgoing chair Lim Choon Kwang, CPP, presented the Chairman’s Report with an account of activities and progress for 2020, and concluded by thanking the MC, internal auditors Junaidi Aman and Andrew Fan, CPP, and legal advisor Roy Sze, CPP. Next was the Secretary’s Report presented by Keith It, which included a proposed amendment to the Chapter Constitution that was passed through. This was followed by the Treasurer’s Report, presented by Hon Treasurer Kamlesh Ramchand, PSP.

The AGM saw a new MC elected for 2021-2022, helmed by existing vice chair Muhammad Iskandar, CPP, PSP, who will be the new chairman. Great that more than half of the MC was re-elected for continuity, “infused” with new blood for succession and diversity.

A key highlight of the AGM saw President ASIS International Godfried Hendriks, CPP, making a special guest appearance. Other than acknowledging contributions of volunteer leaders, he shared some developments at the global level and encouraged members to volunteer themselves.

Many thanks to President Godfried for the show of support, and best wishes to Iskandar and the new team for a more vibrant and successful Singapore Chapter!
